Bella Poarch

Bella Poarch was born in the Philippines on the 9th of February 1997 to her natural Filipino parents. Her adoption took place at the age of three by her grandmother, living in slums. Her adoptive father is a white American with military experience while her adoptive mother is Filipino. She claims she as well as her adopted brother and their mother were subjected to abuse as children until she entered the military. Her family travelled across the country to San Francisco for a few months, where they lived with their aunt, before relocating to Texas at the age of thirteen due the need of her father for bypass surgery. While the physical violence has subsided but she says that she endured psychological violence from her father back at her home. In 18 years she was enlisted in her in the United States Navy. Poarch began her TikTok account in April 202020. The account grew quickly to fame, amassing over 40 million followers in under eight months. Poarch uploaded a variety of videos however her one that went on to become most popular was for Millie B's viral smash Soph Aspin Send. She lip-synced and jumped rhythmically to the tune in a video that was zoomed out. To take advantage of the fame she gained after becoming a member of TikTok in December 2016 Poarch set up YouTube and Twitter profiles. The adulation of Poarch's growing fame reached its peak in December 2020. Two of the biggest Esports professional clubs were reportedly keen on her. FaZe Clan and 100 Thieves were interested to hire her as a content creator under their respective brands.
